  • What can I expect during my first session?
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask some questions about your background, goals, and what brought you to therapy. It’s a safe space , there’s no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with.
  • How long is each session?
Sessions typically last 50 minutes, unless otherwise discussed.
  • How often will we meet?
Most clients begin with weekly sessions, but frequency can be adjusted depending on your needs and goals.
  • Do you offer in-person sessions?
No, we are a fully virtual practice. All sessions are conducted online using Doxy, a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
  • Is what I share in therapy confidential?
Yes, confidentiality is a core part of therapy. Everything discussed stays between us, with the exception of situations where disclosure is required by law (e.g., risk of harm).
  • What issues do you help with?
I support individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship issues, and more.
  • How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply seeking personal growth, therapy can be a helpful and supportive step. The first session can help clarify your goals.
  • How do I book a session?
You can contact me via the form on the Contact page or email me directly at ysertyl@safespaceboston.com. I’ll respond within 24–48 hours with next steps.
